Just be sure to get losts of rest so your body can heal. I'd also get a humidifier and use that.View Thread

If it's bronchitis or even pnemonia then you are going to need a lot of rest to get over it. It took a while before my bronchitis went away completely because your immune system isn't working as well as it did before you were pregnant.View Thread

One bad thing about being pregnant is that your immune system isn't 100% and you are more likely to get colds, etc. Just take it easy and stay inside if you live in a city with a lot of smog in the air. It might help you as well if you got a humidifier or air purifier.View Thread

I had morning sickness well into my second trimester. I found out that it was caused by the prenatals I was taking. Once I stopped taking them I started feeling much better. Try taking different prenatals and see if that helps, possibly one with less iron.
For me I found out that I couldn't take any kind of prenatal because they all made me sick. I started taking a regular multi-vitamin and added extra vitamins that my doctor recommended. Talk to your doctor and see what he/she would recommend for you.View Thread

Abreva works really well for getting rid of cold sores, so does Releev (sp?). One thing that works for me is hydrogen peroxide. It stings but it dries out the cold sore and it goes away faster. It's also cheaper than Abreva and Releev.View Thread

Weight gain: Lost another pound which puts me a pound less than prepregnacy.
Symptoms/Conditons: Braxton-Hicks Contractions have started. A lot of hip and leg pain if I walk too much. It's been raining a lot lately so I haven't been able to go to the pool. Changed insulin for my GD so hopefully I can get my blood sugars under control.
Other: Had my monthly ultrasound today and everything looks great. My baby boy is a healthy 2 lbs 3 oz and 15 inches long.
Next Appointment: Aug 8th, Ultrasound Aug. 20thView Thread

I've been trying to drink plenty of water everyday. Sometimes it feels like it just goes straight through me. My boyfriend now asks me if I need to use the bathroom everytime we pass one in a store or enter a store. 99% of the time the answer is a yes.View Thread
