Beckie and Blue team. No definate on the name, thinking about naming him Jaxon.
Weight gain: gained 5 pounds then lost those 5.
Symptoms/conditions: Can't seem to get my blood sugars to stablize. Took a bad fall last Thurs. and spent the night in the ER. Baby is fine,, I just pulled some muscles in my neck, back, shoulders and bruised my behind.
Other: Had an ultra sound today and baby is right on track weighing 1 lb 4 oz.
Next appointment: July 18th, ultasound July 23rdView Thread
My doctor told me to go to the pool often because it helps with the swelling. It also helps with back pain and helps you feel weightless so you aren't carrying all that baby weight. If I didn't have a pool i'd be mserable.View Thread
I had my doctors appointment today and everything looks great. Baby has a strong heartbeat and is doing well. And i've lost 5 lbs. Since baby is doing well my doctor isn't concerned. The weight loss is probably from all the time I spend at the pool. Another good thing about having a pool is it has kept the swelling in my legs and ankles down making my doctor very happy. So if you have a pool near by go swimming. It's great for you and baby!
The only negative thing about my doctors appointment is my blood sugars they haven't been where they should be so i've got an increase in the amount of insulin I have to take.
I'm just happy that my little guy is healthy and doing well.View Thread

My boyfriend is deaf and it would be nice to have an interpreter at my doctors appointments and at the birth. I called medicaid today to see what it would take to be able to get an interpreter and the woman on the phone say's "He doesn't have to be there with you."
WHAT!!! I know that and he knows that but he wants to be with me and I want him there. It is his child and he has every right to be at my doctors appointments and at our baby's birth.
Medicaid won't pay for an interpreter because i'm not deaf and because my boyfriend doesn't have to be there with me. What am I supposed to do when I deliver and if there are complications and I am unable to interpret for my boyfriend?View Thread
I don't think it's a boy/girl thing. I'm having a boy and he moves all the time. At my 10 week ultrasound he was waving and at 18 he was moving like crazy. I've just started to really feel him move and he doesn't seem to quit. I've either got a soccer player or a kicker for a football team.View Thread
I'm really starting to feel my little soccer player move around. Today was the first time that I pressed on my tummy and he kicked where I pressed. I've tried before but without any luck. He certainly is very active and likes to move around. At my 10 week ultrasound he was waving and at 18 weeks he was really moving around. On doppler you can hear him move. He definately doesn't stay still. I'm sure going to have my hands full after he's bornView Thread
