I went for my monthly ob appt last night. He said since I was having twins and at this point it was easier to peek with u/s than trying to use a doppler to see heartbeats. They looked so perfect and cute. We saw both heartbeats. He tapped my stomach to get the one to move a little and poor little thing jumped. We get to go for a regular u/s in three weeks where I'm hoping to find out the gender!!!!
Plus, last night I know I felt one of them popping around a little in there. It's so cool. I always feel better once I see/hear the heartbeats after the 1st tri. It just makes me feel better. It's like it's really sinking in now!! I'm having twins again!!!!!View Thread
I had to do some thinking but some of my kids are near holidays too. lol My DS was near Halloween, DD1 was right after Valentines Day but her birthday falls on President's Day sometimes, my 3rd is Sept. 11. My twins aren't near a holiday but the new set will be close to Thanksgiving.View Thread
It's good you've talked to your doctor. How long have you been using the cream? I know when I've had yeast infections (which I get when I'm pregnant) that it takes a couple days to feel better down there. If it keeps up ask the doctor. I'm not comfortable messing around with different creams down there. KWIM? I'd rather leave it up to the doctor to tell me what to do.
I got yeast infections with my last three pregnancies and they're not fun. It's usually in 2nd tri around 16-20 weeks seems like it hit me. Not sure why. But, you can use the OTC meds. Just check with your doctor first. Some want you to do the seven day, some the three. I know they said no one day meds because they were too strong.View Thread
I should have added I'm only 13 weeks! Lol I do this everytime though. I moved the extra crib that was in pieces in my bedroom and put it together in the baby room and moved the little cubical i'll use too. Everything is empty but set up in the corner. Lol I'm sure the crib will act as a large laundry basket for the time being. I only have about 23 weeks left if you take away 30 days because I'm having twins. 23 seems long but I know they'll just fly by.View Thread
where your symptoms ease up, you're not really showing but you're just looking fat, and you can't feel the babies yet. It's frustrating. At least when you get to the point where their moving you know all is well. I'm so ready for a little movement but know I still could have another 2-4 weeks still before I feel anything real. I've seen their little hearts beating in there three times now so I know you're chances of anything bad go way down. I'm just ready to move on a bit. Time seemed like it was just flying but now I feel like I'm in a standstill waiting on my next appointment. I will feel better after my appointment on the 15th when I'll hear them on doppler. I'm tempted to order a doppler online for myself but I keep thinking my appointment is less than 2 weeks away!!! I've been like this with every pregnancy so it's nothing new.View Thread
