Im 21 weeks, baby's measuring 5 days ahead of me and I have been having dull pains on the left side of my lower abdomen. It has been going on for about 3 hours now. If I cough, sneeze and what not it intensifies for a couple seconds, but the dull ache is sticking around. The baby is still moving around like normal (i have limited feeling because my placenta attatched to the front of my uterus), but I felt her within the last 10 minutes. Could this just be the stretching of my round ligament still? I did read braxton hicks can start as early as the second trimester. Should I call my doctors office, go to the er or what?! This is my first baby so I might be overreacting... any input would be appreciated!!View Thread
I ended up not going to the doctor until my regular appoitment. He said it was probably a mix of round ligament and stretching. Baby is doing wonderfully, so no worries! Scared me a bit, but i guess thatll happen with the "first" I have also been having some braxton hicks now as well and those are just a little strange but surprisingly painless! thanks for commenting!!View Thread
I'm 16 weeks into my first pregnancy (well thats made it this far) and while I'm sleeping I am apparently rolling onto my stomach, because when I wake up I am almost always laying on my belly. I do my best to sleep on my left side, I actually am sleeping with a pillow behind me (when my DH isn't curled up there) and with a pillow between my legs, but I'm still rolling onto my belly. Is this going to cause damage? Should I start sleeping on the couch or in a recliner?View Thread
I'm on my first pregnancy, and I just went to a shower for a friend that is on her third. I didn't think it was odd or offensive at all!! I think that every baby deserves a shower!! If anyone has a problem, my question would be why? and for what reason? other than being selfish!! It's your baby and if you want to have a shower for him/her I'd definitly do it, and those that truely support you and your new baby will be there!!!View Thread
I paid for an extra us as well just to find out!! Its definitly worth looking into if you don't want to wait. Some places don't charge too much expecially if you only opt for the 2D version.View Thread
