Thanks! I know I'm trying not to worry. I just talked to the nurse and she said all my results and measurements weren't scanned in yet, but what she could see is that the findings were in normal limits and they just wanted to see the face. She said its not uncommon for them to be off a week etc....I think the tec just drilling me about my dates and whether or not I'd been taking my vitamins and eating right freaked me out more than anything.
I miss my first pregnancy when I didn't know anything and didn't ask anything. Sometimes knowing too much can be worse than knowing nothing at all!View Thread
Okay, is this happening to anyone else? I'll go to the bathroom and completely empty my bladder, or so it feels like, then less than 5 minutes later it feels like I have to pee again sooo bad!! It's like a pressure feeling like the baby is laying right on my bladder. And I'll go again. And then sometimes I'll have to go again. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens. Anyone else?View Thread
Thanks ya'll! I'm calling my dr this morning to go over the results again. I'm sure I'll get a nurse to call me back. I have a ton of questions. I was just so flustered that day i didn't ask anything. Hopefully they will give me more peace of mind. Hopefully!View Thread
Yippie!! I had my u/s Friday and before the tec even focused in on the "parts" I could tell for sure it was a girl. I'm so happy! I have all the stuff for a girl, so this will make it so much easier and cheaper! And I'm so excited that my DD will have a sister. Makes me so happy!
On a side note, the tec was having trouble getting good measurements and was getting a 16 weekish measurement on the babies belly first try (I was 17w 6d) but she remeasured and got a 17 weekish measurement. Dr was fine with all the measurements etc, but said she was measuring a little small. So I'm TOTALLY freaking. I was so flustered that day that I didn't ask any questions, but I'm calling this a.m. to get some!!
And I have to go back in a month for another scan because they couldn't get a face shot of the baby which they need as part of their measurements etc...I'm hoping they weren't lying to me and using that as an excuse to do another scan to make sure the baby is growing right. I'm so paranoid!!View Thread
So I went for my BIG ultrasond yesterday and I was 17w 6d. The tec started her measurements with the babies belly and after she did the measurement she asked me how far along I thought I was because the babies belly was only measuring 16 weeks or so. She then asked me if I was taking my vitamins and eating enough? Really freaked me out. So she then measured the femur and it was in the 17 week range, not sure what day, and the head was also in the 17 week range. So she re-measured the belly and it was in the 17 week range this time. So I thought all was good. When I talked to the doc, she didn't seem concerned about the measurements and just said the baby was measuring a little small. I was okay with that answer then, but now I'm worried. They scheduled me to come back for another ultrasound in a month, not because of the weight but because the baby wouldn't look at us so we couldn't get a look at the face, and they need to see that as part of their measurement stuff (check for cleft pallet etc..)
So long story short, I'm freaking out, thinking something is wrong with my baby for it to be measuing small. (We've had 2 previous ultrasounds in the first trimester and it was measuring pretty much right on.) I don't dare tell my husband what I'm thinking either because he'll freak out. What do you ladies think? Any similar findings in your big ultrasound??View Thread
