I am due March 14
I have known I was having a girl since I was 3 months along. My doctor is a proponent of Ultrasounds so I get one every trip. She asked if I wanted to know and I couldnt stop myself. I HAVE to know whether to buy pink or blue
It's PINK btw. TTC for 4 LONG years for this LO. I have a 4 year old son who has decided he will be the one who will have to take care of the baby and couldnt be happier! lolView Thread

I had a dialated kidney with my son four years ago. It just means it is bigger than normal. I also had some aching in my back on that side. It usually is nothing to worry about, but I remember being worried because he said it could be a bigger problem. If I remember correctly, those issues are either kidney stones which is no biggie, or related to other diseases that it was very unlikely that I had. Just don't work yourself up too much. It turned out that mine was from laying on my back (sheesh) and the baby was cutting off my ureter from moving urine from my kidneys to my bladder and was backing it up and causing it to swell. I THOUGHT I had to go less at night... lol I wouldn't worry, it could be a big issue, but let doc worry about that. It's very common.View Thread

Just look up 16 week Ultrasound boy pics and 16 week Ultrasound Girl pics on google in two seperate searches. You will see a big difference in between the two, then look at your ultrasound pic and figure out which looks closer. That's what I did at 3 months pregnant, and figured it on my own

I have a four year old, but I got him books to read aloud. I think they will be just as good for an eight year old. The Berenstain Bears' New Baby and I'm a big Brother by Joanna Cole (She does another called I'm a big sister too). They are both really perfect books for helping explain. Made my son very proud to be a big brother!View Thread

Hi and nice to meet you all!
I came on Webmd a lot when I was pregnant with my last LO about four years ago and loved these forums. I have been on once or twice with this baby, but being that it's my second go around, I have less questions. Well, I'm stumped again and I need your help
I am 21 weeks pregnant and have had really sore breasts my whole pregnancy so far. Even only 4 weeks I had to go to sports bras and am currently in some that are two sizes bigger than normal and I've slowly filled them up to the brim. This week I've noticed more pain than usual and did some examining to find that I believe I have some milk going on there. I squeezed and milk came out, and today I am leaking. I feel like I need to release some pressure. I have read differing opinions about whether I can pump or not. Some say I can, that my colostrum will produce for baby until 72 hours after delivery (I will be C Section and an opting out of Oxytocin) and others say that I cannot that it will start me contracting and that I will go into preterm labor. If I were 37 or 38 weeks I wouldn't be so worried, but being that I'm so far behind I'm worried about doing it, but it really is hurting. What can I do?
