So just curious what everyone else thinks...
Did man in black (or no-name as my friend and I call him) because smokie when Jacob threw him down the shiney hole??? Like his spirit or something?
Did smokie get released when Jacob threw No name down the hole?
I am starting to think No Name and Smokie are not the same thing! I think Smokie has been using No Name's dead body like he has Locke's. I remember hearing that the writers were on Jimmy Kimmel a while back and said Man in Black and Smokie were not the same thing.View Thread
Yes I have to constantly flip during the night to be somewhat comfortable. I also use a body pillow. That helps some but not a lot. I have to sleep with both legs pulled up too. If the one leg - that is laying against the bed - is laying straight I will get a horrible cramp on that side.View Thread
I think you're fine but I also think you might want to put a call in to your doctor just to see what they say. I slipped down six steps and fell forward on my hands and knees when I was 36-37wks pregnant with my DS. I was sore and we were fine but the doctor still wanted me to go get monitored for a couple hours to be on the safe side.View Thread
For those of you having twins where do you feel a lot of movement? I feel most of the kick and rolls to the middle and then more to the left. I do feel the occasional kick to the right side and mostly at night I will feel pushes against my stomach and some rolls on the right side. I assume it's because of the way baby B (the one on the right) is positioned. I am thinking she is more to the back whereas Baby A is towards the front. Does that make sense? Just curious though if this is the same for anyone else? I wasn't feel tons of movement at my last appt so I didn't really think to ask then. I am planning on asking at my appt next week.View Thread
I am a SAHM. I always knew I wanted to stay home with my children. I left work three weeks before my EDD when I was pregnant with my son. I don't plan on going back until all the kids are in school. And that's first grade not K. I also am hoping to get a job at the school so I have the same hours as the kids. I would like to be home when they get home from school!View Thread
I bought DD1 a race car bed last month. I took her regular toddler bed apart and planned on selling it at the consignment shop. So I call today and they said I have to put it together when I get there. I understand their point because they need to see it together. But for me I am thinking it might not be worth the trip. I won't get much for it in the first place. Then I have to take the kids and lug the bed out there (in pieces otherwise won't fit in van), put it together, and have them look it over. If they don't want it then I have to take it apart and take it home. I already have marks against me because I don't have the instruction manual. It's really iffy if they will want it. So I am thinking of just taking it to Goodwill and taking a tax deduction for taxes instead. I know I'm being lazy but I just don't want to deal with it.View Thread
I agree you need to keep a close eye on cribs. I always keep the little L wrench that comes with the crib and every few months check to see if bolts need to be tightened. This isn't an issue really when they are ittty bitty but as they get bigger and move around, jump, shake, and kick the crib that's when it's an issue.View Thread
We did not buy the Ikea mattress. We are using the mattress we bought at BRU when I had DS five years ago. I also bought new mattresses from BRU for the babies instead of using Ikea's. I think their sheets look thin and cheap and didn't really care for many of the designs.
DD's first crib was a Jenny Lind drop side crib. I did not buy it from Ikea. I got it from BRU. I believe it was part of the recall forever ago. I never worried about it since she is bigger. Oh and even though I filled out the card thing I never got anything saying our crib was recalled either. I saw it on the news.
I agree their website isn't the best. Can you post a link to the crib that you are looking at. Seeing as I have spent the last two months looking at their cribs and mattresses I might be able to give you info on what type of mattress it will need.View Thread
