I know some women also get a 30w ultrasound to check fluid levels, etc. However, my doc will not do another u/s unless there are problems. Problems like gaining too much weight (to check for pre-e), leaking fluids, or not feeling enough movement. I would just ask what your doctor's standard are.
I wanted to find out because for me, it makes planninng easier. I can have the nursery decorated beforehand, we can buy cute clothes, and that way not everything we get is yellow or green. (Not that there's anything wrong with that, it's just not for me.)
Like pp said, we bought the bigger items in a neutral color so that it could be passed down, if we are lucky enough to have more children in the future.View Thread
I can see where you are coming from. I would just add the powdered sugar and maybe take some whipped cream to serve with it? I think that it's a good option. It's hard to please everybody because we all have different tastes. I HTH!
I'm still working out for the most part. I walk for 30 minutes at work. I go home and take my dogs on a walk around the neighborhood. That's usually about 20 minutes. Every other night, I try to ride the stationary bike for 10-20 minutes. It's getting more awkward now with a big ole belly in the way.
Post pregnancy, I plan on walking to start and then slowing adding things back into my routine that I had cut out until I am back to doing everything that I used to. I'll start by walking, then jogging, then add in running and weight lifting. Eventually I hope to get back to my full circuit at the gym.
The most important thing is to listen to your body and not over do it.View Thread
I keep forgetting my phone everywhere. I have left it at work over night 4 times now in the past 2 months. THe scary thing is that it's my only phone too. We don't have a land line at our house currently.View Thread
The thing that annoys me most right now is people that don't say "Thank you" when you hold open a door for them. I'm not your doorman. I don't get paid to do this or do it for fun. I do it out of common courtesy.
People that have lost their manners make me so mad.View Thread
