Hey how are you holding up?... saw you posted a few days ago giving megan a congrats, but nothing since then... Hopefully your lil bun is still in the oven getting big & strong, but things are better for you with the contractions and everything! If not can't wait to see your birth story update & hoping you and LO are healthy! View Thread
Well thats great that she was good in the beginning, hopefully this is just a small snag & since you were watching it, atleast you know that her delayed response wont hurt the LO... Now that you are in the home stretch hopefully there are no more issues & shes great when EDD finally comes!View Thread
s/c: Exhaustion has really been hitting me, seems like I will have a few good days and then one really bad one where I just want to lay around all day. Other than that things seem pretty normal, and although I'm super tired of being pregnant, I don't feel this close to EDD.
other: Finally got the rooms switched (YAY) Plan to set up DS's bed today and will have the crib up by this weekend! Once those two big things are done, will wash all baby clothes, toys, & blankets... pack bags for the hospital and be ready! Finally feeling a sense of relief!
next appt: tomorrow 8/21/2012 - every week with reg ob
*********** Korin its a good thing that you have been keeping track and taking care of yourself and the baby with your GD, sucks that the MW wasn't willing to take your word sooner!View Thread

Congrats again!View Thread
Sorry this has been such a long process for you but it sounds like you are staying positive which is great. Hopefully by now you are either enjoying a nap after or hold LO in your arms! Can't wait to hear your birth story and glad you and baby are doing well so far! ...View Thread
S/C: have have lots of lower back pains and contractions the past few days. The dr checked me today and despite the contractions and pelvic pressure, I am not dilated at all, but am 50% effaced. The baby is still not in position which is what is causing the back pain. The baby is sitting so low that my right hip has decided that it is going to be out of place for the last week and a half, not so much fun but just another exciting new thing from the pregnancy!
Other: Finally go the room cleaned out now just onto going thru everything and getting the furniture set up. Still need to get the hospital bag ready for both me and baby as well as figure out the details as to who will have DS1 while I'm in the hospital with DS2...
next D/A: 1 week: 8/21/2012 reg ob
********************* megan I can't believe you are still holding LO hostage lol... good luck honey and hopefully this is over for you soon and you are holding LO in your arms!!!View Thread
having similar experience. This is only baby number 2 for me but this pregnancy is completely different from my last. With DS1 i never felt BH or had early labor pains, I knew I was in labor when my water broke. With this LO I have had BH and back labor pains and lots of pressure. I went to the dr this morning hoping to hear some good news that we are close, but I am only 50% effaced and not dilated at all... I kinda felt the same way! He said that I will continue to have the back labor pains until the baby is in the proper position and even then it could still be a few weeks! And at the appt today he is measuring me at less than 37 weeks which is what I was supposed to be as of yesterday. I didnt ask about that but geez this better be over soon or I'm going to scream!
Not having the kids in the house could be a nice change tho! You may get a bit more peace and quiet and when they get home I am sure they will jump right back into mommy's helpers! I'm glad theya re so supportive and can only hope that my 3year old is accepting of the LO and I don't have to deal with a jealous preschooler trying to bully or be babied! View Thread
