The swelling is bad when I wake up in the morning, but the numbness used to not be bad all day. It is now. It lasts all day and the right hand is worse than the left. I am right handed so that is probably why the right is worse. The middle finger on both hands is the one that gets the most numb. Only a few more weeks and hopefully this will all go away.
I have my doctors appointment on Friday so I am going to ask about it again on Friday.View Thread
How long before Hudson was born did the numbness begin? I have to say that is the one thing that is hard. My right hand is numb more than my left, but probably because I am right handed. Glad to hear it will go away once baby is here! Hopefully that will happen!
Yeah, I have to admit giving birth scares me a little! I have heard many horror stories and am hoping that is the minority not the majority! I plan on getting an epidural so hopefully I won't feel to much, but never know.
That is funny about Zoey! She is still young so she will figure it all out! In the mean time keep doing what your doing!! Head attached to the shoulders is important!!
I have 6 weeks left (34 weeks today), I can't believe how fast it has gone! I have started to swell and have numbness in my hands. Doc told me all normal, but what a pain! I ended up getting some hand braces so I could handle it a little better at least at night, they seem to help so far. We will see how they do at night!
Yes, we are all blessed! How is Hudson doing? Is Zoey getting adjusted to having a little brother?
I was just thinking today next week will be April. We are doing a childbirth class and it is April 3rd. That really makes it seem like we are THAT much closer! Just can't wait to meet this little person! View Thread
Good luck with the csection. Hopefully you can make it the 2 weeks. With you knowing about your problems since you were 14 you were blessed to have 2 children. Not everyone is so lucky!
I am 38 and with this being my first having any more is a ASAP thing. I was lucky to have this one. We tried everything for almost 3 years, the last step being a failed IVF in June 2013. We decided to take some time off and just enjoy the summer, which we did. We had lots of fun with friends and just did whatever we wanted. On Labor Day I took a test only to rule out pregnancy...it was positive! I did a double take with it. I had NEVER in the 3 years had a positive so I wasn't expecting it to be positive. I ran upstairs to get my husband and he was as shocked as I was. So we ended up getting pregnant all on our own!! We were very blessed! We are super excited to have this baby and with only a few weeks left (I am 33 weeks) we are excited to find out what it is and to start a new chapter!
Our biggest challenge is finding a name. I am a teacher so there are those names that I just will not name our child. My husband has his own way of eliminating names. We have a few names and are having a hard time narrowing it down. We have a girls name we really like, but have not totally committed to it. Boys name not as committed!
Good luck with the last couple of weeks and let us know when the baby arrives.View Thread
Hi Jessi! I am not sure you remember me or not from some of the other boards, but saw that you had delivered and thought I would say congratulations!! I actually was thinking of you and wondering if you had delivered or not...guess I got my answer! I am 32 weeks now and time is going by fast! We are going to be surprised with the sex and can't wait to find out! We are having a really hard time with names being a teacher and all I can associate a name with a student either past or present!!!
Glad to hear everything went quick. Wow what a big, long boy!! I see you got a tubal so does that mean you are done?
Heather, I see you don't have much time left either, good luck! Maybe I should have been chatting you with two for the last 8 months!! View Thread
