With my first, we had a full-on party in the delivery room! My parents, DH's parents, his sister, my BFF...it was ridiculous. We didn't want to have anyone there for our 2nd, but my little sis was PG with her 1st and as she put it, "needed to see a live birth before her own."...OK. So my parents and sister were there. With our 3rd we made it very clear that we weren't inviting ANYONE to the delivery - and that was my very favorite delivery.
It's going to vary from person to person, but if you already feel more comfortable with it just being your husband and you, go with your gut! After all, was anyone else there when baby was conceived? Why should people expect to be invited to see the birth?View Thread
S/C: hips are getting sore! from the time I wake up to the time I go to bed! and baby is running out of room in there, the movements are becoming more uncomfortable.
Other: finishing up a baby blanket this week for my cousin who's due on Friday, then I hope to start this LO's! Plan to put together all the newborn baby gear around week 36, otherwise I just get really antsy looking at it all! (baby will be sharing our room for a couple months at least, our 2 year old has her room so there's really not a nursery to set up )
N/A: this morning!

WOw for a big baby! What a cute little butter ball you will have! Move and all went well, still trying to tie up loose ends but I think the end is in sight. As long as I pace myself the unpacking and organizing isn't too much...I just feel nesting coming on so I want to go all OCD on everything LOL and I definitely can do too much! Hope your team is doing good, ours lost their first game but oh well, right? Take care.View Thread
Baby is head down with both fists up by his / her face - super cute on the ultrasound but hoping they move by delivery time! Size is looking good, not quite 4 lbs at 32 weeks - my others have all been between 6lb11oz and 7lb7oz so baby should fall somewhere right in there again! Still no word on boy or girl...time will tell
Funny you should post this, this weekend I was thinking how my latest guilty pleasure are Cup o' noodles or Instant Lunch or some other noodle in a cup scenario, LOL Not a favorite typically!View Thread
