W/G: 10 lbs? I lose track.
S/C: besides a growing belly?
BHC, easily out of breath and heartburn! Hard to believe baby still has around 8 weeks to grow! Starting to nest, I'm afraid, which will just bring on more BHC but my house will be all shiny!Other: Spent a day last week searching for options to our in-town hospital and whopping 2 local providers...turns out there are 8 licensed midwives in our state...yes, I meant to type 8...however I keep getting great reviews for the doctor I'm seeing so I'm sure everything will be great!

I feel your pain on the pubic bone pain! I know I always start getting antsy for the baby to come around now (even though I know baby needs longer to cook) -- but I was telling DH that I feel like I'm going to be holding myself in another week or two b/c it feels like baby will fall out! He suggested a girdle...I think he meant chastity belt?
Oh well, we're just about in the home stretch!View Thread

We are considering a home birth for this baby, and in my research (mostly consisting of reading ALOT of birth stories!), I've read a lot of families who do include their older children. From those, the children either are completely not phased by the experience or choose to leave the scene if they're overwhelmed. For fun, I asked our kids if they would want to see their new baby born - our 5 year old said "Absolutely not!" and our 7 year old said she may be interested if she had the time! Can you believe! So funny! (BTW, DH does NOT want the kids there, I was just curious to see their thoughts!) Good luck with your baby!View Thread
