IMO, just my opinion, keep talking and pushing until they take you seriously. I know it's hard, and some people (I am one of them) hate to be a nuisance, but I think it sounds like you have a good reason for concern, and your doctor needs to listen to you.
I'm sorry they're making you fight for the care you need. That just shouldn't be necessary.
Praying they will listen to you and all will remain well with your sweet little one. (((hugs)))View Thread
Okay, if you DO use it and decide to use it internally...use it in capsules. I thought it would be more effective to use the actual oil, not a capsule and it was...just gross. So I tried just taking some with some tea, and it tasted awful, also.
Probably most people aren't going to go with the oil rather than a capsule, like, it wouldn't even occur to them, but on the off chance you were considering it...don't. Just go with the capsule. LOL!
I agree with Candy, though. It is often used when trying to get pregnant to soften and open the cervix, and used for the same reasons to help make the cervix more favorable for labor. I really don't think it'll induce labor if your baby isn't ready...nothing short of a medical intervention is likely to do that...but it is likely to soften your cervix up some, which should make labor go more smoothly when the time does come.
From what you've described, I wouldn't be worried about it. Baby is pretty well protected in there! But I agree with the pp, if you're having any unexpected pain, bleeding, or fluid leakage, call right away. I wouldn't expect it, though.
Is the baby moving normally? That's a good indicator that things are okay, too.
And, that's definitely something I would do. LOL!View Thread
OH, and during my pregnancy with DS, I started taking yoga (at work) and started taking extra Omega 3 supplements to help control the depression. I still struggled, but it DID seem to help. I also saw a counselor who had an office at my OB's office a few times a month.View Thread
