just had my baby and i was gbs positive as well, my labor went by so fast that they forgot to/ ran out of time to run my meds for it. apparently they have new rules or whatever for if that happens, they now aren't too worried unless your water has been broken for 18 hours or more or you are under 37 weeks. they say unless your baby starts acting differently that there isn't anything to be worried about. she seems to be doing just fine, she was born on june 1st.View Thread
At the hospital right now, just sitting here on the computer... for now. came in at 630 to be induced and got first and hopefully only round of cervadil at 830. feel contractions but the monitor is being stupid and not picking stuff up. grrrr. i wish it would move with me. owww contraction.... will post birth story as soon as i have one well maybe not right then but you guys know what i mean. know exactly how you feel, i am going on 4 days overdue!! i am ready to get her out! i agree with wichelmana, i would definitely choose induction over a c section!! i don't want any extra pain then i have to have. i was induced with my first child two years ago with cervadil and it wasn't too bad but i think i was allergic to it... i have an appt on tuesday as well but i'm hoping i don't last that long. sending labor vibes your way!!!! would love to take your contractions for you!!!! i am one day overdue and i'm ready for her to be here, how about this, i'll have my little girl talk to your son and vice versa and then we'll both be happy View Thread
was too chicken to ask but i think after that check i might have lost my mucous plug... not sure. anything change for you? i'm still preggo, one day overdue, i lost my light. now it seems like she's never gonna come!!!! ahhhhhhhView Thread
was told i was gbs positive and with that they said that when the contractions hit 7 mins apart or your water breaks that you need to go in. i don't know if you'll go into labor any time soon, i've heard of people going in a couple of hours, days and even weeks after that's been done. i haven't had it done myself so i just don't know sorry. if you're still not sure i'd talk to your dr. good luck and keep us posted!! hopefully i'll have a birth story soon to tell ya what's up. i'm gonna see if they'll do a membrane sweep for me tomorrow. i'll be 40 weeks on wednesday. i see a light at the end of the tunnel!!
