I've been a type one diabetic since 1995 (when I was five years old) and I never thought I would have a child, yet here I am nineteen weeks pregnant! Being pregnant and a type one diabetic is extremely stressful; I'm constantly worried about having an eleven pound baby, and every time my blood sugar spikes I'm scared it's just one step closer to my baby getting bigger. I'm sure there are other type one pregnant diabetics in this community, so I'd like to hear from yall and hear about your fears and struggles with your health and pregnancy (and of course the positive things, too!).View Thread
