I can keep mine down during the day bc I eat right and exercise. I see a trainer 3x a week and walk for 10-15 mins after every meal. But I've read that overnight the liver secretes glucose and the pancreas cant produce enough insulin so the glucose accumulates in the bloodstream. Which you can control while you are up and eating correctly but of course you dont have that option when sleeping.
I have noticed however that if I cheat with the last snack of the day with extra carbs and not enough protein my blood sugar is waaaay higher when I wake up. If I eat correctly I stay in the 90s but that's the best I can do.
I got a new dr. I am going to see what she thinks. I didnt like how the previous drs handled it.View Thread
