Yes. I am on 4 1/2 weeks and have had similar problems. A lot of mine had to do with how long I had foley catheter in. It is getting better. I've read that a lot of men experience this. I believe it is a matter of the attachment of the bladder to the urethra being so close to the rectum.View Thread
I'm 54 and had a radical prostatectomy 4 1/2 weeks ago. I had a foley catheter for 3 weeks. When taken out I went about 8 hrs and then could not urinate. After it foley was put in again for 4 days and removed I went 48 hours. It has now been removed, but I had to self cath after 9 hours, and then again after 8 hours. Can anyone advise as to if they've had this problem? I have NO problem with leakage at all.View Thread
