You may want to check to make sure you didn't get an infection. h-ll yeah it's painful for a few weeks! Stamina to stand and do anything involving abdomen muscles and movement will take time to heal. Don't try any sudden movements for a few more weeks, but slowly stand and walk just a little more each day...View Thread
Took me 6 1/2 months before leakage has all but stopped. But I did Kegels 3-4 times a day. Surgery was fall 2013, using DaVinci. Yep leaked like a rusty faucet when the catheter came out...slowly progressed over time. And now am leakage free. BUT, Any sudden Physical exertion requiring heavy amounts of stress on the Abdomen or Upper thighs, and there is occasional drips and drabs due to that. Other than that, drip free. Keep with the Kegels, it gets better.View Thread
Did you ever give Cryotherapy treatment a thought? Just asking..Had biopsy and got the PC news yesterday! I need to make a choice between Da Vinci or Cryo...My Urologist keeps pushing the Cryo route, but did leave it up to me to decide. AT 56, he did NOT recommend radiation or Proton treatment. Had Gleason score of 6, 3 of 12 samples came back positive with less than 10% of each sample showing cancer, and a PSA of 4.0..
Cryo sounds less invasive, but not a sure thing to eliminate PC down the road.. Thoughts from those who did the surgery route?View Thread
