My Story:

Hello, my name is Jack

In 2004 it started out with tendinitis in the left elbow, around December. It soon spread to various parts of my body with swelling, redness, and lots of pain, I went through several doctors who just kept pumping me full of pills, finally, in 2006 my family doctor (her PA) referred me to an RA specialist. YES - he took me off all the meds for 45 days and when I returned to him I could barely walk, he took blood, called me and my wife in after a couple of days and stated that I have what is known as RA, with a healthy dose of Fibromyalgia. I started with Placguinel. and Methotrexate. I have also been diagnosed with a severe neck problems, so I take Darvocet for this. I have experienced several infections during my med taking life. In 2009 my CCP was 180, and my new DR. added Enbrel to my list. My life has been completely affected by this silent disease. I had to file for disability July 2010, and was ruled in my favor Sept. 2010. Now I just live with what I have, some days are better then others. I am happy to be here with you all. We can do what I cant.
