Your story sounds familiar to me as well.. well the beginning of it. The doctors make you feel crazy, and dont ever seem to want to listen to what you are saying or what your family history is. The neurologist keeps wanting to send for testing for Neurofibromitosis and the last test i had done(some sort of vision test looking for neuromas on the optic nerve) came back negative. The symptoms of neurofibromitosis dont even mimic the symptoms of what I experancing. Thank you for the luck and also thank you for sharing your story as well.. It has given me hope and as I said in my earlier reply I will be getting ahold of a rheumatologist after work to set up an appointment. Again thank you so much and I will update this as I find answers out!View Thread

Thank you for your response. I have been trying to talk to coworkers and everyone I can but to everyone around here it just seems rare to them. I do about the same as you on my work days I make it and on my off days I spend in bed.. if we do out and do anything I have the hardest time staying awake in the car.. and my body hurts and aches. I am glad to hear you are finally getting answers, and I hope you continue to feel better. I will try to keep this updated as I find answers out.Thank you for your prayers and well wishes! When I leave work today I will be making my appointment with the rheumatologistView Thread

I am not sure if I'm posting this in the right place or not... but where to start. Back in July 2011 I had some little knots show up on my feet and they started out very small.. and flesh colored and as time went on they got larger in size and kind of a purpleish colored with the longer I would be on my feet. My feet constantly ache... but I always pass it off as normal aches and pains because I have had several foot surgeries for bursitis and a taylors bunion. Now 7 months after I have originally noticed the lumps on my feet i have them more wide spread... I have one particularly bad one on my index finger at the middle knuckle on my right elbow and around 20-30 on my feet around the joints of my toes. I get chronic fatigue where i will just be sitting at work and one second be wide awake having a conversation with someone and the next second fall asleep and not be able to control it
also my hand that has the lump on the index finger.. that finger and knuckle has begun to hurt and ache. my right wrist hurts and aches at times. when I wake in the morning my knees will be stiff and achey. along with my feet and elbows. I have found out that my mom tested positive for SCL-70? I am not sure exactly what that is but her PCP doctor told her she needed to go to a rheumatologist, however she cant because of no insurance. I do have rather good insurance. and was seeing my foot doctor back in august he took a screw out of my foot, and noticed the knots and is wanting to cut them out... I think he is after the money tho. He cut 2 of them out so far for biopsy and said they are "traumatic neuromas" and are caused from running?? which I dont do? and I have these knots more wide spread than just on my feet along with other symptoms. I have also found out that RA runs in my fathers family and my younger sister was diagnosed at 15. I am just not sure where to turn.. and am trying to get an appointment with my PCP so that I can get bloodwork and tested for RA. I feel like I am getting the run-around.. I just want an answer the fatigue and flu like feeling I get is holding me back from my life with my kids
