I was diagnosed with RA last week after 11 months of pain and multiple doctors dx'ing fibromyagia. Finally a doctor considered blood tests and my Rhuematoid factor is elevated. The Rh Factor increased in three months. I was told I do not have a viral infection as the IgH and IgM were negative. CCP and sed rate are normal. The doctor anticipates the Rhumatoid Factor will continue to rise and that doesn't matter. He wants to manage the symptoms. Can I have RA with a normal CCP, sed rate and elevating Rh factor? I can't afford to continue to go to the doctor so often as my health insurance is not so great.View Thread
Grateful to have found this site. Dx 2 months ago after multiple doctors thought fibromyalgia. With an elevating RH Factor Rhumey told me first I had a parasite, blood work said no parasite. Increasing RH Factor, CCP normal, sed rate normal, joint pain, no real swelling. He said I do not have fibromyalgia, I have RA. Poor health insurance, told Rhuemy I can't come in so often. I work to barely pay bills, pay for meds and go to the doctor. Anyone w/o health insurance?View Thread
