I'm just venting a little here. I've been waiting for the doctor to call me back with my test results for a week now! I have called 3 times and I keep getting the same answer from the M.A....."the doctor will call back today to discuss the results with you"...According to the M.A. my test results have been sitting on the desk since last Friday (1st time I called) and all she could tell me is that "some of my results are too high and some are low, and I might need medication to correct them, but that's all she can tell me"...in the meantime I'm sitting here waiting for the phone call in quite a lot of pain! I did go in person to see what was going on and with my bad luck the office was closed....I feel that when blood tests results do not come back normal a doctor should call the patient as soon as he/she gets them on her desk. What is the point of the tests if nothing is going to be done about them.View Thread
I've been experiencing some new symptoms lately that I'm concerned about. My hands, wrists, fingers, ankles, toes, shoulders hurt so much. I also have swelling on my hands. Sometimes I wake up with my fingers really stiff and it takes me a while to get them back to normal. I feel tired and nauseous throughout the day. Could this be RA?View Thread
What does a sed rate of 55 mean? I know it's slightly higher than normal but what could it mean? Since my doctor had no time to interpret my results with me since I didn't have an appointment I just want an idea of what can cause this. Thank youView Thread
Hey! thanks for asking...well nothing so far. I went 3x in person and called many times and this past Tuesday I found out that the Doc was on vacation all that time and she never called me. Last time I talked to the receptionist she'd said that my file was on the dr.'s desk waiting to be reviewed and I never heard from them again. Im very disappointed with this. I'm still in so much pain. Im planning to go back in person on Monday.View Thread
Hello... I still haven't heard from the doctor yet. I'm going in tomorrow in person again. I tried calling the office a couple of times and I think they were ignoring my calls since they have caller ID because Ive been going there for years and I KNOW for a fact that the desk is NEVER alone and when the office is closed they have an answering service. I'm so disappointed with this new doctor. She took over for my previous doctor. This is not a good way to start a Patient/Doc relationship...I've been suffering for months and continue suffering because I don't know what's wrong with me. Hopefully tomorrow I will get SOME answers.View Thread
