I am just curious...Has anyone suffered from involuntary movement of your fingers at night? Ever since I started my RA med I talk in my sleep and my fingers pick at the sheet or if I am having a dream, my fingers get involved. It sounds like seisures...But I am not sure.View Thread
Part of my beginning pain with RA was neck pain upper back and arms. Then the legs on their own jerking upward at night. I still have not figured that one out. One leg one night next few days the other leg. Or a popping in my head and being jolted awake No one has told me what causes this? I hope above all that it is not something other than RA. I have not been on the drug long enough (i dont think) to have these side affects. Anyone else have this happen?View Thread
Yes the Meloxicam does stop working. My friend with Parkinsons is in terrible pain. I finally convinced him to talk to his doctor to change his use of Meloxicam. Everyone is different. I seem to be able to fight my way through paid if I keep busy, but going to bed is another story. I normally can tell if my body is in need of help to get through another few hours. My doctor also asked me to consider Marijuana I have yet to accept that advice.View Thread
The pain is different. It is like the flu to me. I ache all over. When asked where I hurt I cover my entire body. At night it is difficult as I cannot just fall asleep as the achiness is horrible. I would probably say everyone is different. I am very concerned about taking pain meds to the point where I have to have them every 4 to 6 hours. When I told the doctor I took TWO one night as I could not sleep, he said that is ok, do what you must. I have a very good doctor and he has made an appt with a Rheumatologist for me next week. I was treated for fibremialgia for years. Obviously that is what they call something when they cannot figure it out.View Thread
Believe me, I went years with them diagnosing me with fibremialgia. Then one day, I could not take the pain any longer and told my doctor I just cannot take this. My feet give out when I walk up and down stairs, My fingers and toes tingle and sleep is beyond me when the pain sets in at night. He did a blood test and was shocked to find I had Rheumatoid Arthritis. I could have told them this years ago. I see a Rheumatologist next week. I have been on pain meds, but it sounds like pain meds are not the normal meds given to all of you. What drug has worked for you to relieve the pain?View Thread
