My mom is 60 years old and was diganosed with RA a few years ago. Her case is severe, and she has been on many different meds over the years. Lately, she has had some very extreme mood/behavior changes. At first, we thought it may be the medication she was currently taking. That was switched months ago, but the behaviors are still here. My mom is typically rather passive, but she has been aggressive, rageful, and seriously depressed. We are in the process of convincing her to get a full eval (physical and psychological), and I am just trying to find any information I can that may give us a clue as to what is happening. Does anyone know of any connection between RA and Dementia? Any other info? Thanks.View Thread
