Another thing I left out is herbal teas. Ditch the caffeine and invest in herbal teas. Learn about them and the benefits they bestow on your body. My two favorites are Nettle (because its like drinking a multi-vitamin), and Ginger because it heals the gut) do some research stock up, they are good in place of a snack when you're not really hungry but bored. And last but not least...exercise. Whatever you are capable of use it or you will lose it. There is no health without exercise. Before I got hit with this disease, I was a weightlifter, and could easily squat 650lbs. I got hit with RA and in two years my muscle tone was gone, my gut was bigger, my weight heavier, and my physical ability only a shadow of what it was. I spent so much time flared up and hurting, I couldn't exercise anymore. My back started popping out of joint when I sat on the toilet in the morning and I knew I needed to do something. Take it very easy until you have been working out at least a couple of weeks or your injuries may put you out before you even get started. I experienced this several times. If your arms hurt, exercise your legs, if your feet hurt exercise your arms, if the both hurt do trunk twists, but whatever you do, don't let your muscle tone go south or your joints will be more prone to injury.View Thread
One more thing I would like to point out, fluoride is a poison. It is a hazardous by product of the aluminum and fertilizer industries. We have all been lied to. It doesn't do anything beneficial, especially to your teeth. You can aggravate your RA if you drink it or shower in it. GMO foods contain higher levels of pesticides, and in Independent laboratory studies have been linked to tumors in the colon in laboratory rats being fed only 33% GMO diet. Our FDA is run by former Monsanto executives so if you decide to trust them, read the history of Monsanto. Vaccines, due to a U.K. freedom of information act request fulfillment, proves that Vaccines are a hoax. There are no clinical studies that have ever been done over the long term to prove that they do anything but dump recombinanat DNA, aluminum and other adjutavants that injure your immune system. The truth is when the facts were researched, the polio vaccine caused more cases of polio than any other source. Autism is linked to the childhood vaccines being administered, and the Pharmacuetical companies are being sued for wrongful death and injury every day because of vaccines and petro-chemicals that do nothing but cause injury, sickness and disease. Believe me if they could have proven they worked, big Pharma would have put that research out there for the world to see long ago, instead they spread misinformation campaigns, bribe doctors, ingratiate themselves with medical students. and destroy the health of infants and adults while under the guise of maintaining the health of the nation. What a bunch of B.S. Andrew Baker ( FFN),- Freedom of Information Act in the UK filed by a doctor there has revealed 30 years of secret official documents showing that government experts have 1. Known the vaccines don't work 2. Known they cause the diseases they are supposed to prevent 3. Known they are a hazard to children 4. Colluded to lie to the public 5. Worked to prevent safety studies
Well another month has passed, I have had some pain in my finger joints in the morning which passes within the first couple of hours, in addition to the lactobacillusGG and bifidobacterium Infantis I have added a product by "NOW" called pro biotic defense.Proprietary Probiotic Defense"122 Blend of: 515 mg * Fermented Greens [Barley Grass (Hordeum vulgaris), Oat Grass (Avena sativa), Wheat Grass (Triticum aestivum), and Alfalfa (Medicago sativa)>, Freeze-dried Probiotic Strains (1 Billion cfu) [Lactobacillus acidophilus, Bifidobacterium lactis, Lactobacillus brevis, Lactobacillus casei, Lactobacillus plantarum, Lactobacillus rhamnosus, Lactobacillus salivarius, Lactobacillus paracasei, Lactobacillus bulgaricus, Bifidobacterium bifidum, Bifidobacterium brevis, Bifidobacterium longum, and Saccharomyces boulardii>, Super Green Foods [Alfalfa Juice Concentrate, Atlantic Kelp (Laminaria digitata), and Dulse (Palamaria palmata)> as you can see this formula is weak but well balanced. I also consume fermented cabbage or kim chee as my first food of the day and as a snack twice a day. Appx 1/4 cup ea. It is so easy to make this yourself all you need is sea salt, organic cabbage, a jar, and something to squish it with. There are numerous recipes on the net but I make mine with Himalayan salt and a 1/4 cup of brine from either the Kim Chee or the previous batch of fermented cabbage. I found a video, when you first look at it you will think I posted the wrong one because it is actually a posted as decalcification diet for your pineal gland. But guess what? having researched everything she discusses in her recommendations, she is 100% spot on for RA except she leaves out eliminating wheat, corn, soy, and dairy which all can aggravate RA. http://youtu.be/92qmQFkYILM I know she seems young but her advice is sound. I am in year 5 of this disease, and since I started this regimen, I have not had any swelling in any of my joints. I'm not going to guarantee this will work for anyone as there are other things I do such as taking 5000mg of Vitamin D every day (drops), curcumin for any pain, with boswellia if its bad. The latest research says the Curcumin extract has beaten out NSAIDS in clinical testing anyway. So I have to ask the question why keeping taking NSAIDS? A multi-mineral plant sourced supplement, magnesium 2x a day, as well as Kelp, Astaxanthin with the D drops(more effective together) Pine bark extract from bulk supplements.com along with magnesium glycinate, you can buy a cap 'em quick rig along with gelatin capsule for less than 20.00. I make my own because I find it impossible to buy supplements without magnesium stearate, palm stearate, vegetable stearate (same as palm) or Stearic acid. You will usually find one or more of these in most supplements.(I order from bulk supplements because their products are tested and retested for purity) The reason you want to avoid all those forms of magnesium I listed above is that they set up a bio-film in your gut that prevents you from absorbing the vitamins you are taking and the ones in your food.Mal-absorption causes sickness. If I start my morning out with a loose bowel, I increase the amount of bifidobacterium Infantis and stay away from immodium ad. The less junk you put into your body the better off you are. I also eliminated sugar except what I use to make Kombucha which I start my day off with 4 ounces. I make my own and it runs about 65cents for what you spend 4.00 on at the store. Komubucha makes sure that Candida Albicans which has been related to colon cancer does not overpopulate your gut. I realize that everyone is different, and I had to play around with pro-biotics for 2 years before I got the right kinds to bring my inflammation under control but they are the key. View Thread
. One suggestion I would like to put out there is for anyone with Rhuematoid Arthritis. I had RA about 2 years and tried virtually everything, then I started reading about pro-biotics. I realized after research that RA is related to the gut. It can be brought on by vaccinations throwing your intestinal fauna and flora out of whack. The way to correct this is to start with a regimen of Culturelle Lactobacillus GG strain of probiotic bacteria, double up on the recommended dosage for 2 weeks and then add bifidobacterium Infantis to your regimen and double up on that as well. I used to have to take Enbrel to keep my hands from swelling up like balloons (injections) Since starting this regimen coupling it with a Paleo diet no dairy, no wheat, no gluten, no soy, no corn. And walla! Instant remission! If you know anyone with RA have them try this. It is not harmful to the body and works wonders. I think it is unconscionable that Rhuematologists are giving out drugs that aggravate the bowel when the problem is the bowel. The only way to treat RA is to eat foods that heal the gut while reinforcing that with a probiotic regimen. While your ideas may work with people with moderate forms of RA I seriously doubt it would be effective on its own for a severe case like I had. I was doing everything you listed without results until I stumbled onto the research for probiotics.View Thread
