I have come into contact recently with someone that I knew many years ago and I recall that there was mental illness in her family history that I believe may have been schizophrenia. In the few times we have gotten together since, she has decided to confide in me about a relationship she is having with a comedian "indirectly" on Twitter. She is under the impression that every twitter post he makes is about and/or for her and tells me in depth what they really mean. Confused, I viewed both hers and the comedians pages and am completely at a loss for what she is talking about. She also mentions how Oprah has people watching her online and that she feels that Oprah has paid people to give her advice on her blogs. I am very concerned about my friend as she is contemplating leaving her husband over this appearing imaginary online affair that she feels Ryan Seacrest and Scott Baio support. She also has three children at home. We have only been back in touch a short time and I would like to help, but, don't know the best way. Is it better for me to continue to listen to her and gently try to point out the truth? Or, should I do anything at all? Please help me.View Thread
