hi bonnie, thanks for your response. it was a pleasant surprise to see you response. i thought this website stopped being updated on friday and wasn't up and running again until late on sunday. u said burlington? r u in vermont?
when my sister got engaged last nov. i started a new (serious) fitness program and was true to it until 2 month ago when my left knee started having somewhat serious issues. i am slowly getting back into it, however. what about u? are you doing anything for weightloss? hey, speaking of my sister's wedding, i need to write an update post to let everyone know how it went.
hey girl, just a quick note to say that ur jiggle jiggle bounce bounce comments made me LOLOLOL.
i would be right along with u.....except i would be more like, flop flap flop flapping in the breeze. yikes! not the pretty sight that i used to be . i used to be an athlete and really cut. i am working on though, i really am.
hi dogdancing, girl, please know that you are on my heart and mind and that my heart TRULY is going out to u. i am 31 and have been through a number of (physical) medical dramas. I HATED EVERY MINUTE OF EVERY ONE -----ESP. THE FACT THAT THEY DO NOT OCCUR IN A VACCUUM....in other words, they are always coupled with $$$$$$$$$ price tags. i wrote that in caps not bc i was shouting (shouting is down right rude and inconsiderate) .
please know there someone down the west coast is empathizing with you fully. the feelings of being scared/terrified, the stress of the bills, the agony of waiting, the fear of you own body turning on you, ect, ect.
i have very much been there more than once and all i can do is let you know that you will be on my heart and mind. PLEASE stay as strong and safe as you can and PLEASE reach out to trusted loved ones. ........and please keep us posted via this discussion board.View Thread
hi there bubbles, i dont know a lot about therapy/counseling, but it does seem a little odd that she told u about that. i mean, i guess it is cool if a T opens up and shares a little bit about where they are coming from. in fact, that might even add to their credibility as a professional. however, if info is shared for the reason of making it seem like they had it worse that you (or something) then that is whack in not appropriate.
hi kate, wasn't that a cool question that she posed (where would u want to live and why) ? i bet u would have a lovely home in the mountains. are you not into animals? just curious. i love animals more than just about anything.
HELLO NOPOIN, how are you doing now ? i just read your post (it is saturday afternoon here is so. calif). my heart just broke for u when u said that your husband threw something at you. that just devastated me. i am so sorry that happened. i can easily see how that would move you past thoughts of self-injuring. (
i do not know much about counseling and "homework", so-to-speak, that therapists have their clients do in order to really grab hold of a situation so they can understand it better in order to deal with it in the most constructive/strong way (ect.), but i hope the things you T has u doing help you. no matter what, i would encourage you to shoot for good communication between u both (u and ur t). in other words, let your t really know if certain assignments are particularly hard for u for any reason.
again, thanks for posting your thoughts and reaching out to us.
how are you doing now ? i just read a number of your posts from recent days. the ordeal with the crazy male neighbor banging on your door sounds really scary. do you ever call the police when that type of thing happens?
please, please stay safe. i hope the stepps program helps you elevate yourself to a better place.
