I seem to be burning the candle at both ends..... Along with the SI, I have disordered eating. At this point in my life I am struggling with both. And expressed my exasperation at both issues the other day while seeing my therapist. In the end, we made a pact to help me moderate my food intake. Not too much and not too little. Right! As a result of all the pressure of working on the food issue, my SI has not decreased at all. My therapist thought if I focused on the eating, I would be too busy to SI. Wrong! So....am I crazy to be thinking that such intense focus on one would make the other worse?View Thread
Congrats on nine months!! I'm finding myself in a tough spot because spring is here and my arms r in such a mess. I have told my therapist but "we" haven't worked on it much. That's according to him. I feel like mentioning was talking on and on about it. At any rate, it's nice to meet you and thanks for your post.View Thread
My family would freak out if they knew I was posting here. They seem clueless but needless to say they would be so confused. How do you explain SI? Its comfort wherever I go. I need comfort and seem willing to obtain it anyway I can and at whatever cost. This cost includes the ability to comfortably wear shorts and short sleeves. So many ppl would never understand the stress and anxiety of wearing certain clothes. I love spring and I hate spring, if you know what I mean! I have got to get this under control and soon. It takes so long to heal and I just won't let the spots alone. sighView Thread
