I'm a first time mom to be, due on Sept 28th, looking forward to having a little girl. While the pregnancy so far has been far more blessed than I could have ever hoped, the situation with the father has been mentally detrimental enough that I've just had to get away from it completely. Any tips on cheering up or staying that way despite the hormones?View Thread
I haven't gotten much of anything done, we recently (well 3 months ago) moved and we still aren't all the way unpacked. We haven't gotten very much for LO yet. We have a crib (not put together), new mattress, crib sheet and some blankets (still undecided about getting the whole crib set), a dresser, and a bassinet, and a few clothes.
I am excited and nervous at the same time. Sept seems so far away but the last few months have flown by.View Thread

I am 24wks tomorrow and although I can honestly say I have not gained a lot of size in my legs/arms, my belly and breast are pretty huge and it seems like the scale is increasing daily. Honestly, I haven't weighed myself in a few weeks, but at last months appt. I had gained 14 pounds total (that was at 20wks). I'm scared to go over the recommended amount. I'm comfortable with gaining weight, but just don't want to gain more then I need to.
This is my first LO, a boy.
It seems like the last week I really noticed an increase in sluggishness too- increases in effort to do daily physical activities. How is everyone else feeling, physically/wieght wise?View Thread

I only did it because when I registered for DS #1, I received NOTHING that I actually chose from my registry. I actually had a few people tell me that they didn't like what I picked and got something else instead. WTH??? It's MY baby right??? LOL
I figure that if I ask for gift cards for my registry sites, I can buy exactly what I want and like.
Does this make me too picky???View Thread

I feel like I'm having a girl but what do you think.View Thread
Well I went Thursday and baby is a boy, was shy at first but did show himself at the very end.

There is a possible problem, the DR found a calcium spot on the baby's heart... I'm going to post this on the 2nd Tri board but thought I would start here because we are a smaller group.
Does anyone have any thoughts/heard about this/had any experiences?
I have to go for a level 2 U/S. The DR said not to be too worried-just precaucious.View Thread
