Well she went to the Dr this morning for a check up on the IUD and she was supposed to talk to the Dr about it again for some reassurance but she clamed up and didn't asked, she is kind of shy so asked if I could come on here and try to get some reassurance for her. And to answer your question the Dr said that about a year ago they found out that it wasn't bad for a women the get an IUD, for the first couple of days she was in quite some pain with cramps then spotting for a while but after 2 weeks she was fine. Know she doesn't have to worry about taking a pill every day and her cramps have been getting better and no mood swings. My girl has about four friends and I have one that has the IUD and have had it for years, they said it is great and they said that their partners go inside of them almost every time and they have never had a scare. I am just trying to get some more feed back from really people that have been in this situation before and see what they think I mean is it worth it? Does it feel good for her as well as me? Will she like it? I just don't want it to be all for me and be selfish.
If anyone has any experience in the matter please feel free to elaborate. Thanks. View Thread
Hi my name is John, and my girl friend just got the UID for birth control. We are both in the military and we dont want a kid right know, In a couple of years we will but our question is the doctor told us that the UID is the most effective birth control out there. It has been good so far, better then the previous ones. We were wondering just how effective it really is? It says on WebMd that their is no other steps needed to take to prevent pregnecy, does that mean that we have the same chance of getting pregnant if we pull out or if I go inside of her? See is realy scard cause she doesnt want a baby right now so we wont do it but I would like to and we just need some reasureance. ThanksView Thread
