I haven't been around in a while. I'm doing well and getting ready for another deployment. Lots of stuff going on but I feel strong and riding the waves
I recently found out about energy psychology and wanted to let you know that it has been working for me MUCH faster than regular therapy, even faster than DNMS (Developmental Needs Meeting Strategy or dnmsinstitute.org or .com), which I had thought was amazing.
It basically combines acupressure and affirmations to get to the parts of your brain and your body that don't respond readily to talk therapy. For me, after I work on a particular memory or thought, I can go back to that memory and although I know it is still there, it brings no pain with it. It's like touching a healed scar. It usually is instantaneous (well, not instant - but a few minutes; sometimes it takes a few hours. I'm not kidding, it's that fast).
The thing I like most about it is that you don't have to reactivate the trauma to heal it. It just heals, and something that used to be a major trigger is no big deal anymore.
Anyway, the videos, how-tos, and most of the downloads are free, so that's also good news! I haven't paid for any of it and have had a lot of great results (and no negatives).
Couldn't come across something so great and not share.View Thread

Emotional intelligence is essentially the ability to recognize, manage, and use your emotions in positive and constructive ways. It’s also about recognizing the emotional states of others and engaging them in ways that feel good to all and create mutual safety, trust, and confidence.View Thread
