Just so you are aware, 80% of the us population has been exposed to HPV. If any man has dated at least 2 women, odds are he has it as well.
I would just continue to get your annual pap smear to keep an eye on it. You may want to start the conversations about, "did you know" that 80% of the population has HPV and 20% has Herpes? I don't know how old you are, but if he's been with at least 10 women, he's probably been exposed to both diseases but may never develop symptoms.

I'd go the student health center at school and they should be able to point you in the right direction. Or, wait 10-12 weeks and get a type specific blood test to determine if it is herpes.
