I have unsafe oral sex in early Aug this year. Start to feel itch that day, and sometimes feel painful around the urethral. As the problem/symptoms is not so serious, I think that it will be fine, so haven't visit doctor immediately.
In mid Sept, I want to know what's going on with my problem, so I visit the doctor which is specialist. The first one saying that I am fine, so there is not medicine or checking for me.
Therefore, I find another one in the same week, the doctor saying that I have no obvious symptoms for STD, and advice me to take doxycycline for two weeks. And for safety reason, suggest me to have a completed testing for STD. I am completely fine after taking the doxycycline for two weeks. However, the reports states that HSV 2 is positive, but the figures is unknown.
I guess my symptoms seems not match with HSV 2. Then, I visit another doctor for consultation and request for blood test again. And the reports states that my IGG is just 1.1, which is equivocal.
My question is 1. what is the chance for me to get hsv 2 in this case 2. should i retest againView Thread
