I have a friend who has "mat herpes"/"wrestling herpes" which is a form of HSV 1 and takes a daily suppressive to keep it under control. I have HSV2 on my genitals but it is so mild and I have only had one "outbreak" (just 1 bump that resembled an ingrown hair) in the year that I've had it that my gyno does not think I need to take any meds.
He is very hesitant in entering a sexual relationship with me since he does not want to deal with another strain on another part of his body. I was wondering what the chances are of him getting it from me with protection while he is already taking valtrex and has HSV 1.View Thread
