Correction: Those who are cut have less sensation in the head of the penis. (The glans is naturally a moist mucuous membrane with sensitive nerves just below the surface, as well as in the inner surface of the foreskin. After circumcision the head dries up and becomes calloused -- the technical term is keratinization -- and thus the nerves in the head are less able to be stimulated, not to mention the nerves in the inner foreskin are lost as well.)
This is not just a hypothetical situation for me. It is personal.View Thread
Erectile disfunction (E.D.) is different than loss of libido. Libido is the desire to have sex, while E.D. is difficulty or the inability to have an erection -- even if the guy has a strong sex drive (libido).
I have E.D. that has been "corrected" with an inflatable penile implant (after trying other solutions). My libido, however, has never diminished since pubery, and I am 62! (lol)View Thread
I agree that "looking down their penis looks small." We need to use mirrors more often to look directly at our penis (at penis level) to see it more accurately. Of course this is not a problem for me because my penis is so huge. (lmao)View Thread
All males should be aware of what are called "growers" and "show-ers": A grower greatly increases in length (doubling or even more) when going from flaccid to erect. A show-er only changes a little bit if at all when going from flaccid to erect.
Guys who don't know about this may have completely incorrect ideas about other guys' penises they see. Growers may think that a guy whose penis look large in the locker room doubles or more when becoming erect, and show-ers may think that a guy whose penis looks small in the locker room basically stays that same size when becoming erect.
I am a grower, and my penis more than doubles when going from flaccid to erect.
I think we guys would know more about what is "average" (I've read that some 90% of erections are between 5" and 7") if we saw one another erect more often, but that's not going to happen in ordinary society, is it?View Thread
Again I say, wow! I must have boring doctors who only do a generalized genital inspection. Glad your doctors are more thorough (I guess, although I would be a little embarrassed having that much examination of my erect penis -- because it is so huge!) lmaoView Thread
I had this happen once years ago, and it scared me to death. My doctor checked me out and told me it was a simiple infection of the prostate. He gave me antibiotics and it cleared right up. I have never had this again. (Hope this helps.)View Thread
