Thank you for backing me up, exprzzionz. I have a friend who is a doctor in Atlanta who does corrective circs on guys from around the US and the world. He is a urologist, but has found this niche of guys who either because of being born with abnormalities or had a poor quality circ, have decided to come to him and have it repaired. He even works on guys who are seeking the best possible circ they can because of Phimosis, and they have great results. But for the rest of us who are in a state of cut or uncut and happy, with no problems; be happy and stop giving other guys a complex, please?View Thread
I'm not opposed to someone wanting to be circumcised if that's what they really want to do and if they're minds are made up, then others should be supportive. That means saving all of the comments about: how bad sex is going to be, dry head, less able to be stimulated, less sensation, etc.
That's all crap. If you were cut as a child, you won't know the difference or care. There are a great many men who are cut and they seem to enjoy sex just fine. The drive to have sex is still there, and I promise you no matter how much dry head a person has, they still manage to have enjoyable sex and they never stop trying to have sex just because of what some people say.
What ever state you find yourself in as an adult, as long as there is no medical problem, don't fix it. However, if you asthetics are important to you, you may want to discuss it with a psychiatrist 1st. See if there are some deeper reasons for wanting that change.
Please be positive and sensitive to the needs of others.View Thread
I am so glad to hear you say that. In a world where woman are bombarded with images that encourages self loathing, it is important that you exude self-confidence about the things that gives a woman a solid foundation to bond herself to and build a life around. Remember, the man marries the women, not the other way around. It will never have ended with just your penis if you had gone that far to please her. I'm curious as to how that conversation came up. Our sexual function can change in a dime especially if she says things that can effect you psychologically. They know not to say things like: it's too small, too bent, too hard, etc. Women usually and should feel emboldened to speak up about if your penis is not clean enough (which despite some of the responses you've received, has nothing to do with your being uncut. Circumcised guys have to actually soap there penises and testicles down to get them clean as well). A guy should care enough not to give the women he loves a urinary tract infection; not to mention receiving oral sex is more likely if she knows her guy makes a habit of being clean down there. The point i'm making is that I wish you actually had more post from Europeans guys where it is more the norm to be uncut. I say that because we live in an elitist American society that have convinced a lot of us guys from childhood that being circumcised is better, cleaner, or enjoyed more by women. Once again, just read the responses to your post! That's bull___. Most of the earth's population of men are uncut. I have seen Hispanic, Native American, African American, most all European, and increasingly more White American women who have just given birth threaten the nurse who brings up circumcision of their son. The procedure is covered under all health plans for birth, not even as something extra. So the only reason I could see for going out of the way to keep the son's foreskin is out of personal preference and for his future bride and sexual pleasure. I want you to look in the mirror the next time you take a shower and see just how perfect and awesome you were born at birth, and are now as an adult. I hate to say it, but no shribbled, soft penis looks pretty; no matter the guy. However, as a former swinger, (i'm married and having sex with just 1 women now, that is sex with the one i'm married to, Lol.), your intact penis would have gotten a lot of play. I know, diarrhea of the mouth, but i'm passionate and committed to enhancing psychology by elevating the Human condition and advance Human potential.View Thread
I am also inclined to agree with gymrat44, about seeing a marriage counselor, adding only that after seeing the counselor for a while, you should include your wife in on the sessions. As difficult as it seems it would be to talk about some of the things in front of her, it might bring you two closer working on the issue together. When she realizes how committed you are to maintaining a healthy relationship with her, it may help her understand you better. That's what women want the most, to know that you are a team, and that come what may, you are committed to being with her the rest of your life. Please let us know how it goes.View Thread
Trust me, you're not the first guy to think about doing away with his sex drive. I spent way to much time watching porn when I was in my teens and twenties, and it's only now that I realize how harmful to my psyche it really has become. I remember vividly every seen, and this has really screwed my mind up, interfering with all the relationships I have in my life, male and female. I have read a lot about sex addiction, and most of the material says that this addiction is the hardest addiction to cure, going so far as to say that there is no cure for it, just treatment in managing how we react when the urges present themselves. I'm not sure if you have a religious faith, but I have found that the only thing that helps is reading portions in the Bible that talks about certain individuals who like us are sinful beings, but they endured and made changes in the life by remembering that God is always watching you no matter what it is the you are doing. Of course this works only if you actually believe in God, and I do. The Bible speaks of Moses as "being steadfast in seeing the One who is invisible". For me this work. I'm not gonna say that I have never had a relapse, but for the most part, when these thoughts come up in my mind, I remember that God is watching my right now, and if he was in the room talking to me, I wouldn't give a thought to masturbating or allowing my mind to dwell on the perversions my mind has witnessed over the years of seeing so much pornography. Most are inclined to believe it doesn't work, but I know it has in my case. You are welcome to write me if you have a question at email@example.com.View Thread
