I've had the same dark spots. They tend to show in sensitive area of the skin where you tend to sweat. Such as your neck, the back of your knees,armpits,inner forearm etc. I was overweight during the time I had breakouts. I also consumed a lot of alcohol. This is caused my your fluid intake. I switched from drinking beer and soda on the daily to drinking water and juices. I also began exercising and noticed that the spots began to lighten up. I would recommend beginning a small diet and limiting your amount of sugar intake and alcohol (If you do drink that is) Also use warm water when showering. Get a SOFT loofah to scrub and use scentless soap. Try it for a month and let me know your results.
