On and off since September I've been getting red marks on my skin that look like mosquito bites but aren't. They don't itch or make me feel unwell and last only a couple of days or so before fading and then popping up again a couple of weeks later. I'm curious as to what causes them? I have washed all my bedding and clothes on hot washes incase of bed bugs or dust mites but still happening. It pops up no matter where I'm staying and so far only in winter.
The first bout was really bad with marks all up my back and arms but more commonly only 2 or 3 'bites' on my forearm on the side closest to my body. Don't feel like I can go to the doctors for something so trivial but wondered if anyone had any suggestions on what could be causing it?
