I worked in a nursing home, for twenty plus years and I've seen many different skin problems. The thing we always used is mineral oil. Put it in your favorite lotion, just after your bath, while your skin is still wet. Then towel dry.
This works anytime, just be sure to wear socks or wipe your skin off, so you don't slip. Mineral oil is cheap and very affective and it's already in most lotion's. Use about 1/4 of your lotion, from the bottle and replace it with mineral oil and shake. After a couple, of times, your skin will be so soft and feel great!
If your skin is oozing I suggest just using the mineral oil, but it will be thin. Just prick a little hole in the foil with a needle, so you can control how much comes out, of the bottle. Make the hole bigger, if you need too.View Thread
