It definitely looks fungal. It is a condition called tinea versicolor, which is caused by a yeast that lives in our hair follicles and causes a rash in some people for some reason. It is not contagious and not dangerous, just a nuisance. You can try an OTC antifungal like clotrimasole and/or start washing yourself with Head and Shoulders or Selsun Blue shampoo in the shower. Keep in mind that it may recur, especially in hot and humid weather. If this doesn't work, you'll have to see a derm for prescription medication. Good luck!View Thread

I treat many psoriasis patients, and haven't found any specific dietary triggers, but if you look on the website of the National Psoriasis Foundation, psoriasis.org, there is a book written by a chiropracter which gives a diet for psoriasis. Try it and see if it works. Good luck!View Thread

You should go to a dermatologist ASAP. It sounds like you have a ruptured cyst and the quickest way to get rid of it is a cortisone injection. Good luck with the wedding!View Thread

You're going to have to see a dermatologist about the pimple scars. There are things that can be done, but it really depends on the type of scar. As far as the dry body skin, use Dove soap in the shower, pat dry, and moisturize immediately. If a lotion is not working, use a cream, like Eucerin, and if that doesn't work, use an ointment, like Aquaphor. Lotions with ceramides, like Cerave, are the most moisturizing. I hope this helps.View Thread

Go online to aad.org. They have Find A Doctor on the site. You put in your zip code and they give you the doctors who practice there. Good luck!View Thread

Unfortunately, anyone giving a suggestion without seeing the rash on at least one of you would be guessing. I am concerned about the possibility of Lyme disease-this can be associated with neurological problems, and although not contagious from person to person, commonly affects more than one family member because of exposure to the Lyme tick. The only way to work this out is to go to a doctor.View Thread
