Unlike scars, those spots will get darker when he gets sun but because they aren't scars and will eventually fade on their own if they are allowed to heal. You can help by making sure he always uses sunblock.
The other thing to watch for is when he hits puberty. He will probably get those spots when he breaks out but picking/squeezing pimples will make this worse.View Thread

Also, any suggestions for the PIH?View Thread

My spouse and I are both 43. He was diagnosed with shingles yesterday (about 36 hours after first symptoms - Thanks WebMd!) and has started anti-virals. His doctor only asked if I'd had chicken pox (Yes). But now every time I feel an itch, I get a bit nervous.
Everything I've read so far states the vacc. is appropriate for people 50+ years old. Is there any point in my getting the shot? Will any responsible clinician GIVE me the shot?
Thanks!View Thread
