I am on my 2nd CPAP machine. I am a woman, 70 yrs old. Sometimes I don't feel like wearing it, but after about 10 min. put it on. I feel safer, get a good nights sleep and feel refreshed in the morning. I don't know how I would live without my CPAP! It goes everywhere I go if spending the night somewhere. I have the nostril mask and had no problems adjusting to it and I'm a side sleeper anyway. It's a matter of dignity I feel. I want to live so overlook what others say is uncomfortable. It's a matter of adjusting in your mind and accepting it. I am so thankful for mine and it's my "best buddy". Thank you Webmd. I'd be lost without you also. View Thread
