i had chronic migraines during my last two years of college, which my neurologist and i finally attributed to severe fatigue after many trial and error treatments. after college the migraines gradually lessened and eventually disappeared, but then i started developing sleeping problems.
for the past year and a half my sleeping problems have gotten considerably worse; namely it is nearly impossible to wake up in the morning. i sleep through 5 alarms and am on the verge of losing my job because i am so late all the time. i live with three roommates and they have mentioned that when i fall asleep i am completely dead to the world. a train could go through my house and i would sleep through it.
i went to a sleep doctor recently and we are looking into narcolepsy. i have to go in for a sleep study and EEG to get a more definitive diagnosis.
go see a neurologist and/or sleep specialist! and hang in there. things will get better.View Thread
