I have (had) obstructive sleep apnea. Found myself sleepy all the time, even in the morning, and my wife complained about the snoring. A sleep study confirmed OSA, and then I was told the solution was CPAP. I tried CPAP and while it did solve the OSA, I was miserable sleeping with it. So I looked into alternatives. I just completed 2 minor surgical procedures with Dr. Michael Friedman in Chicago. They were no big deal. What a difference. I'm not tired during the day. It's been life changing. And my last sleep study came back clean: no apneas! Now I know every case is different but...for at least some of us, there is an alternative to CPAP.View Thread
