I could never wake up either. Once I went through puberty I was always tired and could never wake up in the morning. When I was in college I went to a psychiatrist for help with learning disabilities and I told him about this sleep issue because I was always falling asleep in class and was depressed. He put me on SSRI"s in the a.m. with no success for sleep problems. But when I took them at night, my life changed drastically. I could take them and wake up 6 to 7 hours later and be alert the whole time. It changed my life. I now take Effexor and without it, even missing one night I cant wake up and can literally sleep all day. If I need to be up when I forgot it, it is just like before. I was tired, foggy, very sleepy. Hope this helpsView Thread
