Ihave always been told of this therapy:REST-ICE-COMPRESSION-ELEVATE! icing should be 15 min.every 2 hours or atleast 3 or 4 times a day, compression with ace bandage elevate on pillow when possible above heart.Sounds like you may be beyond this point though.From my experiences(left and right acl knee reconstructions and two fused discs in neck) I received excellent treatment from a specialized sports medicine clinic.University Wisconsin Sports Med. many large univ. have specialized med. clinics and treat many extreme athletes and soon to be pro athletes.If you have access to one in your state I would go there for a quality opinion.I wish you luck!View Thread
