I'm so sorry to hear this and have not had this experience, but will pray for the recovery of your love one. Are doctors advising to continue rehab? What kind of treatment are you all trying at the moment?
Please call your grandmother's doctor and speak with him/her about her condition. I am not a medical professional and have tried to find information on the internet, but am having a hard time with an explanation. Her doctors are there to help and I hope that you address all of your concerns with them. Please take care and let us know their thoughts and how everyone is doing!View Thread
I'm so sorry to hear about your mother and her latest health concerns. I know that this is not easy for any of you and wish that I had the perfect advice and information to give you.
Her symptoms of confusion, vision trouble and numbness are all know as side effects to having a stroke.
Here is the WebMD Stroke Guide with information about symptoms, treatments and support groups. I hope that some of the information helps you and wish the best for your mother and your family. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers and I do hope that the doctors can help. ((((((((((hugs)))))))))))) Please keep us posted on how you are doing!!View Thread
I'm so sorry that your family is unable to speak with you about your episode. This is not easy to go through alone and you are doing an amazing job! I'm so glad that you ARE still here!!!!
I'm also excited that you are seeing a counselor!!! That is great news! Below I have linked the WebMD Stroke Health Center with much information on the topic. There is also a link to Stroke: Support and Resources to find options of doctors, health tools and organizations. The last link is for Stroke Support Groups and Organizations that you can contact to find other survivors and assistance.
I hope that your road to recovery treats you well and you meet some others to relate and/or at least listen. Again, you are doing an amazing job, so keep up the good work! Take care and please keep us posted on how things are going.View Thread
