agree that for some people, rehab with bodywieght is more effective. I suffered a hypertensive stroke about ten years ago, Was partially paralyzed onthe left side of my body, due to a brain bleed on the right side. checked into the hospital @ 212/161. When released, went through 8 days of rehab, to slow for me at the ae of 46, Started walking up and down the halls trying to reproduce the muscle action in my right foot and leg, then went to the beach spent hours doing the same thing, digging my toes in the sand when wwlking, Happy to say 10 years later regained about 80 % of my strength, and still improving. Takes time and patience, and dedication. the process never ends, get used to it.
