in a vein in my neck.
when they did the test yesterday they had put an I.V. in my arm because the dr had ordered mra with contrast .
when they stared but the contrast in my I.v during one of the scans of the mra.. it hurt very badly & it burned so bad i stared to scream . so is this normal for the contrast to hurt like this &did i have a reaction to the dye they were useing.View Thread

the D.R. put me on plavix for the t.i.a. i had september 1st & I hurt my shoulder a couple of days ago.
my question is how many aceteminophen can i take saftly in one day with the plavix with out getting sick from to much of both medicationsView Thread

I had a T.I.A last July.. when i had my eyes exam today the ophthamologist told me i had only a 60% vision in my left eye, i she also told me that I have vigual field defects in my left eye & the DR wants me to see an specialist ophthamolgist .
my question is :what are the cause of Vigual field defects in a eye. is their any treatment for this condtion.
I have been having some blured vision in the left eye & some times i have the blured vision in both of my eyes. not every day this happens but its scary .View Thread


ever sence i had my stroke T.I.A July 21st 2011 my left leg has been swolen..
the DR. said when i was in the hospital that it would go down.well it has not done so it been almost a year its still swolen. is this a consern?View Thread

thanks for the info it helps alot..I, was checked for Diabetes & my sugar levels are normal, i take my meds every day try to eat right get enought sleep,have to go see my nuraoligest again soon.I read that 1 in 3 people have a chance to have a worse stroke after having a T.I.A is this true?.View Thread

my dad aslo had alzeimers & parkinson@ the same time my question is: what the percentage of risk like 10% or a 50% chance that i can devolp one or both eather parkinson or alzeimer when i get in my late 60s early 70s there is a family history of this on my dads side of the family.my dad was the only one to have both of these deasese.View Thread
