Hello Marie, for my brother, he was completely utterly blind for 6 months. As his mental functioning, memory improve and with therapy, the doctors now think he has 1/4 field of some sort of vision in each eye. he is training to "scan". We celebrated that last week he could see beanie babies taped to a wall at his vision therapist's office. still no functional vision, though. And as for stroke prognosis, doctors - with all respect - do not know. We pray for continued hope and healing for you and everyone out there who has this burden to bear!View Thread
